🌿 3-Minute Sinus Relief Self-Massage (Lymphatic & Trigger Point-Based)
Why it works: Your sinuses are connected to your lymphatic system, which helps drain fluid, filter waste, and fight infection. When your sinuses are congested, your lymph flow can get sluggish, leading to pressure, puffiness, and discomfort. Gentle massage can help stimulate lymph flow, reduce sinus pressure, and improve drainage naturally.
Minute 1 – Activate Lymph Flow (Neck & Clavicle)
(Always start here! The lymph needs a clear path to drain.)
Step 1: Open up the lymph “drains” at your collarbone
Place two fingers just above your collarbones, at the soft dips beside your neck.
Gently press and stretch the skin downward toward your chest.
Repeat this 5–10 times on both sides.
Step 2: Stimulate the sides of your neck
Lightly use flat fingers to sweep downward from just below your ears to the collarbones.
Do this 5–10 times on each side, slowly and gently.
Minute 2 – Facial Drainage & Pressure Release
(Now we get to the face and sinus area.)
Step 3: Under-eye sweep (optional ) not in video
Place your ring fingers at the inner corners of your under-eyes.
Lightly sweep outward toward the temples, following the cheekbone.
Do this 5 times. This encourages sinus drainage from the eyes and cheeks.
Step 4 : Jawline sweeps
Place fingers near the corners of your mouth and sweep them out along your jaw toward your ears.
Then sweep down the neck to the collarbone to complete the lymph flow.
Do this 3 times.
Minute 3 – Forehead & Nose Focus
Step 5 : Nose bridge & sweep
With two fingers, glide down the sides of your nose from the bridge to the corners of your nostrils.
Then sweep outward across your cheeks toward your ears.
Do this 3–5 times.
Step 6 : Eyebrow pressure points
Use your thumbs or index fingers to press just under the inner edges of your eyebrows (where they start).
Hold for 5–10 seconds, breathe deeply.
Then move to the center of the brows, repeat.
Finally, the outer brow—hold and release. This helps drain the frontal sinuses.
Wrap-up: Gentle Deep Breath
End with 3 deep belly breaths to help calm the nervous system and support natural drainage. You can place your hands on the stomach. Follow your breath in and out, pressing lightly stimulating the lymph in the gut for elimination.
